International

As Scouts we are part of a family of over 50 million members spread all across the world.  Scouting offers our young people the chance to discover and explore that world (‘world’ is one of our three main programme themes), to link up with Scouts around the world, to travel and much more.

The Surrey Scouts International Team, part of the Programme Team, are here to support leaders and young people with international programmes and experiences. Our responsibilities include:

• Providing support and managing the Visits Abroad process
• Co-ordinating UK Contingent participations in events such as the World Scout Jamboree and Roverway
• Sharing ideas for delivering international programme activities and information about World Scouting
• Support the international elements of the training scheme and Surrey Skills Academy.
