Training for all adults needing to keep their Scouts First Response up to date

All adult roles that are required to hold a First Response certificate must renew the full Scouts First Response (minimum) training every three years.

Module 10b top-up sessions for those who have completed an external course (this is not a full First Response course)

Also available (courtesy of Hampshire Scouts) is 2 ½ hours elearning followed by a 2 ½ hours Zoom session.  Following completion of both, a practical assessment (Module 10b) is required to complete the training. 

First Aid provision within Surrey Scouts is co-ordinated through its own First Aid Team who:
  • Provides advice on First Aid requirements and training.
  • Supports a network of County First Aid trainers, the majority of whom operate within specific Districts or Clusters.
  • Delivers courses across the county at a wide variety of levels.
  • Offers training & development for existing and prospective First Aid trainers
