Skills for Managing Time Effectively

“We all never have enough time so how can we make best use of the limited time we have. Not just for Scouting but for all the other things we need to do, want to do, have to do.”

This workshop is aimed at Lead Volunteers and Team Leaders although the skills and concepts are useful to all.

The workshop demonstrates why, how, and what to prioritize, chunking tasks, managing time wasters, how to manage Monkeys, how to slice Elephants and why objectives are essential, for life, for Scouting and the rest of your life.  The workshop is based on the ideas of Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard.

It is also a good start to the Management Wood Badge Programme. This workshop will credit part of the Manager’s Wood Badge.
