Skills for Managing Time Effectively

Primarily designed for Lead Volunteers and Team Leads, this workshop is useful for anyone who finds they don’t have enough time to do what they want to do.

The skills and concepts are also useful to all

The workshop demonstrates why, how and what to prioritise, chunking tasks, managing time-wasters, how to manage monkeys, how to slice elephants and why objectives are essential for life, for Scouting and the rest of your life. The workshop is based on the ideas of Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard.

It is also a good start to the Management Wood Badge Programme. This workshop will credit part of the Manager’s Wood Badge.
