There is a huge range of Climbing opportunities at a number of Scout Indoor and Outdoor Climbing Walls plus there are a number of commercial climbing walls in Surrey and in Kent & Sussex real rock that can be climbed on.

All forms of climbing come under the Adventurous Activity Permit Scheme

Russ would be pleased to run courses to order, on climbing and/or abseiling at different levels. There is a high-quality climbing wall at Bentley Copse ( www.bentleycopse.org.uk )

 

There are a number of age relevant opportunities at local activity centres and commercial centres, contact the County Climbing Adviser for suggestions. The Permit scheme will still apply.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
