A County Camp for Squirrel, Beaver and Cub Team members!

When? 26th / 27th April 2025 – from 10am Saturday to 10am Sunday
Where? Birchmere Scout Campsite, Wisely
Who can come? All team members over the age of 18
Why? Because we want to have that child free leaders’ camp we all dream about! It is a chance to get the younger sections from around our county talking / learning new skills / getting to know each other as well as having a chance to share ideas /  make new contacts / see what county team can do for us
Cost: £15pp (+ Eventbrite fee) to cover food, site hire and bits for the camp

Programme

Saturday – 10am – Arrive, coffee / pitch tents if staying over. Welcome chat

11am cook your lunch challenge
You will be given the ingredients / kit / person with skills / to go prepare a lunch and cook it on a fire

1pm sit round main fire circle and eat lunch

2pm Surrey Skills Academy will have a set of work shops for you to try / learn / talk about

5pm dinner with a set of speakers

7pm camp fire (bring a song or something to share if you like)

Sunday – Breakfast about 8.30am  (chat about the weekend and ideas for following year)

Birchmere Campsite

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
