Looking to apply for a Nights Away Permit?

This course delivers the skills needed to help you achieve your Nights Away Permit and for anyone else who wishes to increase their knowledge
The course consists of a series of 6 online sessions leading to one practical residential weekend course

Module 38 – Residential Weekends (you only need to complete one of these plus the relevant catering session plus one of each of the Zoom sessions):

The online sessions are as follows and form part of the course:

Additional Camping Skills Workshops – 2-3 hour sessions for those wishing to learn new skills and increase their knowledge.  Book here please
Saturday 18th October a.m.- Tarps, Tents and Shelters – Looking at a variety of tents and shelters
Saturday 18th October p.m. – Camp Gadgets – simple gadgets to use at camp
Sunday 19th October a.m. – Backwoods Cooking – cooking backwoods style on wood fires
Sunday 19th October p.m. –  Knife, Axe and Saw – safe use of knives, axes and saws at camp

 

Module 16 – Introduction to Residential Experiences 
This 2 1/2  hour workshop covers the requirements for adults who need  this Module as part of their Wood Badge. (It is not intended for anyone applying for a Nights Away Permit)
