Managers Learning – How to Influence Others

This Workshop describes an Influence strategy with ideas for applying it within your team. There is related content in the Scouts website section “Tools to support Leadership Teams”

You will be given an insight into using the appropriate words at different stages of a conversation. Negotiation skills are explained with the knowledge of how to apply them. You will be able to lead others through change. There is an opportunity to discuss your current team development and possible strategies to apply. The workshop builds on the both the Constructive Conversations and Situational Leadership parts of Leading Volunteers eLearning in Growing Roots.

The workshop will help you credit the Enabling Change Module and part of the Working with People parts of the Wood Badge Programme (Managers and Supporters).
