Managers Training – Getting the best out of diverse teams

The workshop concentrates on the different personalities you are likely to find in your team. You are given strategies for the different ways of getting the best out of people depending on their preferences.

As a pre-course exercise you will complete a Quiz that helps you understand your own personal preferences based on the Insights Discovery Framework. This is part of Module 9 in the Section Leader’s Wood Badge Programme.

You will be guided through an assessment of your team and where you think they fit into the colour framework. You will list the best communication and motivation to use with individuals in your team

This workshop builds on the Working with Adults Module on the Section Leader’s Wood Badge Programme, and the Managing your Team part of Leading Volunteers eLearning.
