Skills for Assessors

This workshop is for those who assess Permits for Activities or Nights Away and those that assess Modules in the Section Leader’s Wood Badge programme
Additional Learning will be required

This short workshops includes the skills of:

• Giving supportive and objective feedback to adults
  Demonstrating consideration and care for those you are giving feedback to
  Understanding the risk of assumptions
  Using adult to adult style language and avoiding patronising speech.
  Demonstrating active listening
  The art of good questions

Additional Permit assessment and Activity Permit assessment. This additional learning is assessed by nominated District or County Team Members. Further guidance will be available on the workshop.
Additional training is available for Learning Assessors in the use of My Learning, A date will be agreed at the end of the workshop.
