Woking Cubs At CubJam

Date: 9th Jun 2019 Author: Alistair Tickett

When half term beckons, lots of groups take a chance to have a week off.  Not so the Woking District Cub team!  23 Cubs and a group of leaders headed off for a taste of a national cub camp – Cubjam – held at Phasles Wood Camp Site in Hertfordshire.

With an Around the World theme, the camp provided lots of opportunities to try new activities and make new friends with cubs from around the country and despite it being a little wet and occasionally a little cold, the cubs had such a great time that the leader team are already planning a return in 2022 when the event next runs.
