Approximately 500 Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Guides and Leaders camped at Bentley Copses’ Frost Camp which was held over the weekend of January 11-13 at Bentley Copse Activity Centre.

Scouts from Godalming, Woking, Guildford West, Haywards heath, Reigate, Farnborough, Bookham, Caterham, Dorking, Farnham, Guildford East,  Leatherhead, Frimley Green, Walton on Thames and Odiham enjoyed a weekend of activities which included Quad biking, a rotating climbing wall, caving complex, circus skills, Jacobs ladder, crate stacking, zip wire, archery, air rifle shooting, climbing and abseiling, bushcraft, laser tag but to name a few.  In the evening there was a campfire and silent disco.

Richard Kirwin, a Leader from Surrey said, “I bring my Scouts as there are not many places that they can participate in such a wide range of activities on the same weekend.”

Put your phone down and what are you left with? Just teamwork, courage and the skills to succeed.’
