Beavers Go Wild 2019

Date: 19th May 2019 Author: Alistair Tickett

Surrey Beaver Scouts held their 2nd Beavers Go Wild event in May at Bentley Copse Activity Centre.  What a 24 hours!

400 Beaver Scouts under canvas for the night!

Loads of activities – big and small!

A campfire!

Surrey Beaver Scouts had the chance to join a 24 hour camp celebrating all that is good about Scouting – fun and friends – with lots to do and lots to explore.  The Beavers arrived and got stuck straight into activities such as climbing, pedal carts, bottle rockets, exploring bones and lots of crafts to name but a few.  Birthdays were celebrated, |Beavers and Leaders were invested – there was a lot to pack in during the day and the exciting camp fire followed by story tie and hot chocolate got the beavers settled for the night.  Day two had some new activities added into the mix with Beavers taking on orienteering.

An amazing weekend with a whole lot of very happy Beaver Scouts supported by a dedicated team of leaders!

Will we do it again?  Yes we will!  Booking opens on 1st October 2019!
