5th Farnham visit the palace!

Buckingham Palace kindly hosted the 5th Farnham Scouts Summer Camp 2019 patrol winners last weekend.

The Tiger Patrol and Leaders “scrubbed up well” knowing that they would be lined up with the legendary redcoats of The Queen’s Guard.

Having learnt a thing or two about Coldstream Guard “inspections” (which of course we hope they’ll share with other patrols) the scouts were invited to tour the buildings and mews where the patrol winners even had chance to practice their regal waves and see some of the majestic carriages that will be in action at the State Opening of Parliament.

Having had their equestrian fix, the scouts headed off for the Victors Banquet, where both they and the leaders celebrated their triumph in style.

Many congratulations to Tiger Patrol, and thank you to the Royal Household for facilitating this celebration.
