5th Guild ‘Lions’ Brighten Up the Area With Bulbs

5th Guildford ‘Lions’ were recently asked to plant some bulbs on Onslow Village Recreation Ground in Guildford. The area has just benefited from a new play area and the council wanted to spruce it up a bit. The Cubs were asked as the group’s Headquarters in on the recreation ground right next to the area in question.
After receiving the bulbs, the Cubs split up and were tasked to plant in different areas with one team trying to plant some spelling out the word ‘CUBS’. The pack is looking forward to seeing what comes up next Spring! It was a great evening and helps to teach the Cubs to look after the area and hopefully be proud when the bulbs all bloom next year!
