Frost Camp 2022

Between: 25th February 2022 - 27th February 2022 Location: Bentley Copse Activity Centre Sections: Scouts

Update

Sadly, following a meeting with the organising team this afternoon, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Frost Camp 2022.

With the rise of the omicron variant and difficulty of obtaining test kits, we don’t feel we can keep our staff and volunteers safe enough from possible infection. Frost Camp requires approximately 70 staff, volunteers and external providers to run and it’s this number of people working, eating, and sleeping in close proximity that we need to, but can’t avoid.

We have set a new date of 25th – 27th February.

We will be offering refunds to any groups who can’t make the revised date, please contact us if this is the case for you.

Nothing else is changing at this stage, apart from the date.

We’re sorry to have had to reach this decision and know that the scouts, guides, leaders (and parents) will be as disappointed as we are.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
