European Jamboree 2021

Between: 2nd August 2021 - 13th August 2021 Location: Wyspa Sobieszewska Sections: Scouts, Explorer Scouts, Adult Volunteer

After extensive risk assessments and consultations, ZHP, WOSM and WAGGGS have come to the decision to move the European Jamboree to 2021. With the support of the host city of Gdańsk, the European Jamboree will take place 2-13 August 2021 on Sobieszewo Island. More than ever, we believe in the mission of the European Jamboree to bring together a global community of young Scouts and Guides. By rescheduling to 2021, we want to make sure that this opportunity of a lifetime is not lost for our participants, volunteers and staff.

After a gap of nearly 15 years, since the UK hosted the last European Jamboree in 2005, the next European Scout Jamboree will take place in Poland in August 2021.

Building on the fantastic programme developed as part of their World Scout Jamboree bids the Scouts and Guides of Poland invite you to join them for 11 days of activities, combining the chance to develop new skills, make new friends from across Europe (12 – 15,000 people are expected to attend) and experience Poland’s beautiful countryside. Based on its own island close to the city of Gdansk, the purpose built site is within walking distance of beautiful sandy beaches, pine forests and a short bus ride from the bustling city.
