This course introduces the role requirements for GSLs, DESCs, Section Supporters such as SASU Managers, ADCs and District and Group Scouters.
Learn about eating the elephant and monkey management.
- Getting the role right,
- Understanding the current situation (how to complete a SWOT or RAG),
- developing a plan (Growth, Inclusivity, Community Involvement, Youth Shaped, – People, Perception, Programme, Places),
- Time Management,
- Personal Learning Plan, (connecting with others).
By the end of the workshop participants will have a plan for future management Learning and validation. For those who do a little preparatory work this would be a vehicle for validating Managing Time and Personal Skills as well as Module 4.
