Managers – Enabling Change Workshop

Date: 29th March 2023 Between: 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm Location: Zoom Online Session LTM: Howard Hills

This event enables Managers and Supporters to discuss ways of encouraging adults in creative ways of improving local scouting.

Some pre-work is essential and participants must complete the Independent Learning in Enabling Change or have attended the Meeting the Challenges course.

Participants are required to discuss the affect of a change initiative they are delivering in their Group or district section.

We will review examples from participants of resistance to change and discuss ways of effectively managing it.

You will be asked to provide an outline of the change you are trying to achieve before the event starts.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
