8th/14th Epsom

At 8th/14th Epsom we are excited to be a part of Scouting!  Our purpose is to deliver #SkillsForLife to as many young people as possible, enhancing the lives of young people and adult volunteers alike and equipping them to making the world a better place.  As a part of a worldwide movement, we are a part of the largest global youth movement.

We meet on a regular basis in term time and follow a carefully planned programme that offers a range of skill development from outdoor activities to more creative approaches as well as developing experiences in teamwork and leadership – there is something for everybody in Scouting!

Scouting is for everyone of whatever gender, background or beliefs – no one is excluded and we delight in diversity!  We are guided by our core values of respect for each other, respect for ourselves and respect for our world.

Through the adventure of Scouting, our young people get to learn new skills, try exciting activities, have their first taste of responsibility and take risks in a safe environment. We give young people experiences they’ll never forget.

We provide fun, adventurous activities and personal development opportunities for young people aged 6-25. In Scouting, we believe that young people develop most when they are ‘learning by doing,’ when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks, think for themselves and have fun. We have a modern purpose built headquarters in Horton Path, Epsom where all four of our age ranges or sections meet. We have membership of well over 100 young people, and an excellent leadership team. As an RAF recognised Air Scout group we have the added bonus of access to RAF resources to provide flying and other air activities.
