
On Friday 14th August the first set on over 450 Scouts, Explorer Scouts and Leaders will set off for K9. Surrey Scout's International Expedition to Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland.

K9 is an International Camp for Scouts and Explorer Scouts from the Scout County of Surrey in the United Kingdom.
Scouts Troops and Explorer Scout Units will join together over the weeks of 14th and 21st August and travel to Kandersteg International Scout Centre.
Kandersteg is situated at 1200 metres above sea level, some 65 kilometr
es south of Bern, in the heart of the Bernese Oberland. The Centre occupies 17 hectares of wooded ground at the southern end of the village and provides an excellent base for excursions and adventurous activities.
Kandersteg offers a unique environment in which people of all nations can join together in new challenges, scale new heights and collect memories that will be remembered for the rest of their lives.
The event is organised by a Core Team of County Leaders from Surrey.
