The weather on the Friday night was fine but Saturday it was weather for ducks!
Our theme for this weekend was the Chefs badge and we started the evening off with a Do-nut Special. The Cubs also learnt about safety in the kitchen, healthy eating and cleanliness…oh yes they know how to wash up!
The Cubs played various food themed games and also cooked their own dinner, Spaghetti Bolognese and Chicken Curry from scratch, (no jars of sauces here), breakfast (eggy bread) and made scones for high tea on Sunday.
We took advantage of a break in the weather on Sunday and went outside for a Wide Game or two.
Congratulations to Toby for being the Best Chef, that weekend and Callum, Elliot and Jack for being the Cub Master Chefs of 2015.
