In this months sizzling celebrity edition of Surrey Scout: Chesney Hawkes pulls a trek cart during 1st Chertsey's centenary celebration; TV adventurer Bear Grylls is announced as new Chief Scout. Also in this edition - double celebration for Ajax Sea Scouts, new Chief Commissioner appointed (Wayne Bulpitt), a bumper year for Dittons May Fair, and Surrey Network invite you to an experimental camp in October. Woking scouts report on a weekend challenge in the Brecon Beacons, Merstham Beaver's ride in Model T Ford's and Claygate celebrate 100 years with a group camp at Walton Firs.
