In this months sizzling celebrity edition of Surrey Scout: Chesney Hawkes pulls a trek cart during 1st Chertsey's centenary celebration; TV adventurer Bear Grylls is announced as new Chief Scout. Also in this edition - double celebration for Ajax Sea Scouts, new Chief Commissioner appointed (Wayne Bulpitt), a bumper year for Dittons May Fair, and Surrey Network invite you to an experimental camp in October. Woking scouts report on a weekend challenge in the Brecon Beacons, Merstham Beaver's ride in Model T Ford's and Claygate celebrate 100 years with a group camp at Walton Firs. We have all the usual features including the County diary, Information desk and this months awards.

In the May issue of Surrey Scout: Hinchley Wood complete the 'Four Inns' challenge; Epsom Air Scouts celebrate centenary on Mothers Day, Cyclo Cross results, help required for Bazzaz, do you want to be a Jamboree 2011 leader?
