Sunday 21st March

This year the event was very lucky with the weather, having been so bad day on the day before, it was dry throughout the Sunday morning. This however meant that the course was very muddy so hard work and lots of slipping by the participants.

The event was popular as ever with 71 young people (both male and female) taking part (results available here) over the improved and enlarged course; which this year it had a chicane in it.

Our thanks goes to the Ranmore Wardens and Service Crew for setting the course and all the Leaders that helped with marshalling.

We would also like to thank the District Commissioner for Dorking and friends for providing the catering a selection of tasty burgers, hot dogs and hot drinks.

Last but by know means least, we would also like to thank to the Paul Iverson Assistant County Commissioner (Scouts) who came to present the medals to all the winners.

I think a good but very muddy morning was had by all.
