Beaver Scouts and Beaver Scout Leaders from Woking District were among the cast taking part in Live 07, the Festival of Scouting at the O2 arena at the end of November. 

 

They took part in the Beaver Scout ‘rap’ moving to a rap specially written about the history of Scouting and also joined with the cast of 2000 in the finale.

 

Tracey Daniell ADC Beaver Scouts said: ‘they were so enthusiastic, it was wonderful – they learnt their moves at rehearsal really quickly and didn’t seem nervous at all. I think they were quite taken aback at the sheer size of the event when they entered the arena and really surprised to see themselves on the giant screen. I was really proud to have Woking Beaver Scouts taking part.’

 

Live 07 was a fantastic end to the Cenenary Year celebrations. Everyone who performed will remember it for a very long time – youngsters and children alike – it really was a unique experience
