The Paragliding Club provides paragliding experiences for scouts from Surrey and Greater London South West. There is usually a minimum age limit of 14 years for most of the events offered so this is eminently suitable for Explorer and Network scouts. However, the Club can sometimes accommodate younger Scouts. There will also be an advanced course for those who have already been on a basic course.

Paragliding opportunities will be offered between March and October and details will be circulated via district air advisers and Surrey Scout and the . For further details and booking forms contact the bookings secretary. The cost for the introductory course is £30, please contact the booking secretary for other course prices. Participants are given training and will then normally have three launches during the day, but operations can only commence/proceed if weather conditions are suitable, so courses sometimes have to be cancelled at short notice. In this event the Club will do their best to arrange another date as soon as possible. Book early - courses are very popular!
